(Left) Photo of Roger E. Farnsworth at his Pualani Estates home in Kailua-Kona, HI, during the Hawaiian Dedication and Blessing of the home in early January 2009. The home was dedicated as "Hale `O Meipala" after Roger's hanai* sister, Mabel Torres Dias Maldonado-Carvalho Ishii.
*Hawaiian term loosely translated to mean "adopted."

In August 2009, the traditional Hawaiian Gift of Aloha was sent to Hopkins Manor in Redwood City, CA in memory of Roger's mom, Lois Bridge Farnsworth. Each year a special gift is donated to Hopkins Manor where Lois spent her final and happy years. This year's gift included several dozen Hawaiian shell lei for the Manor's staff and guests.
